And, speaking of weddings, the great Rick Hess took a day off from writing books and got married last weekend in Arlington, VA. It was lovely and Rick has found a truly wonderful woman to be his partner. At the risk of being an ungracious guest though, I have to say that the part where Lynne Cheney gave Rick away was kind of creepy.

Actually, giving away Fred Hess of the elitist far-right American Enterprise Institute isn’t so creepy. I’d like to give him away. I’d like to give Lynne Cheney away. Come next January, we’re all giving Dick away.
