AP is reporting that Obama has picked CPS boss, Arne Duncan as Ed Sec. Are you happy?

AP is describing it as a compromise choice between the reformers who wanted someone like Rhee or Klein and the establishment and unions who wanted someone like Linda Darling-Hammond. What do you think?

I think those category titles are stupid.

Of course, not. I didn’t work and vote for Obama on the basis of who he would choose for EdSec. Neither did most teachers I know.
