NY Times drops comics. Kristol gone.

Billy's gone, one more round. Billy's gone.
Some NY Times readers believed the paper had no funny pages. Not true. On Mondays it had the crazy neo-con, William Kristol. It was announced that today would be his last at the Times. We’ll miss you’re stupid comments, Billy. They were always good for a laugh.
On January 23, 2008, on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, comedian Jon Stewart quipped “Oh Bill Kristol, are you ever right?”, alluding to inaccurate predictions that Kristol has made about American domestic and foreign policy, including the Iraq war. (source)
One Times reader wrote:
Just saying it does not make it so and having pseudo intellectuals like Kristol stating that conservatism has been successful and good for this country is simply not true.
The best thing about this article is the tag line – this is Kristol’s last column for the Times. I do believe that people like Kristol, people without anything to say that is either true or constructive, do have a right to speak but it is very gratifying to find that he will no longer do so in the TIMES.
