Senate must confirm Hilda Solis.

Hilda Solis, a Democratic Member of Congress from California and long-time women’s rights advocate, has been nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as his Secretary of Labor. If confirmed, Congresswoman Solis would be the only Latina in the cabinet.
