D144 members vote yes on agreement. Strike is over.

IEA Communications Director Charlie McBarron reports that the members of the IEA local at Prairie Hills District 144 in Chicago’s south suburbs have voted this afternoon to ratify the tentative agreement worked out between their team of negotiators, the board and a mediator.

Teachers have been on the picket lines all through this past, very cold and snowy week.
