300 rally at Cook County Jail against AZ law.
July 30, 2010
Thursday 300 people rallied at the Cook County Courthouse in Chicago. The rally was part of national demonstrations that opposed SB1070, Arizona’s racist, anti-immigrant law.
Armando Robles, President of United Electrical Workers Local 1110 and a leader in the Republic Windows and Doors occupation, was one of the speakers at the rally.

Don’t you know states that enact racist, anti-immigrant laws score highly on Race to the Top? Nice to know Arne Duncan doesn’t hold it against them. Too busy firing teachers and closing schools I guess.
