Chicagoans demand school funding.

At 4PM Thursday, teachers, parents and students gathered at the Daley Plaza across from Chicago City Hall to demand school funding and the return of laid off teachers to their jobs. In spite of the Edujobs bill passed by Congress, more than a 1,000 CPS teachers are still laid off.

A coaliton of parents, teachers, and students is a good one. When you have one pitted against the other, it’s not good.
