Voting at the IEA RA.

In response to an e-mail from Bob Blade, a candidate for IEA president:

I understand that at last weekend’s Board of Director’s meeting Bob Blade voted in favor of changing our legislative platform to allow the issue of taxing retiree benefits to be placed “on the table.” In reading Bob Blade’s website on “Education Reform” I find it indistinguishable from that of many so-called Reformers, seeming to blame teachers for some perceived and alleged  failures. As a delegate to the RA, I look forward to hearing an explanation of Bob’s vote to allow IEA to concede protecting retiree benefits.

I would hope other delegates will ask for an explanation as well.
