Make Wall Street Pay.

My friend Amanda writes:

I’m writing to ask for your help today. A group of NPA affiliates and allies (the org I work for) are starting to do some kick ass work around the budget cuts and revenue crisis in Illinois. They are calling themselves “Make Wall Street Pay Illinois” and are headed to Springfield tomorrow to push for an investigation into rotten interest rate swaps and cutting tax breaks for corporations.

They have a goal of getting 500 signatures on the petition and are almost half way there.

If you know people that are dealing with fallout from the cuts, and people that would be excited to support this work, Please pass the petition on.
