National Conference to Fight Back for Public Education

On July 6th, following the NEA RA in Chicago, there will be a day-long meeting of teacher union activists sponsored by Chicago’s CORE, the Caucus of Rank-and-File Educators. If you are coming to the RA, you might want to add another day to your trip for this. It will take place from 9 to 5 at Teamster City and you can get there easily from a downtown hotel by CTA, known locally as “the el.”
A group of dedicated teachers, retirees, PSRPs and other champions of public education. We will democratize the Chicago Teacher\’s Union and turn it into an organization that fights on behalf of its members and the students we teach.
