Rahm Emanuel, Penny Pritzker and the entire appointed Chicago Public School Board can live with that.
I saw Chicago burning, blocks away from my own home, in the 1960′s. People setting fire to the buildings they lived in, buildings their families and neighbors lived in as they lived there. Madness. The National Guard filling Roosevelt Road with armed forces firing from rooftops. Very little accurate news coverage. I never believed that it would be possible to see that happen again. Now, I’m not so sure.
This horrendous loss of human lives and the wasted futures being inflicted must end, or…
