I heard from Bev Johns this morning.

She told me that now it would be helpful to re-post names and telephone numbers of Members of JCAR all this coming week. See below.

Bev met with JCAR staff this Friday morning in Springfield.

“Everyone did GREAT JOB sending emails to JCAR,” said Bev.

Now we need to convince each and every Member of JCAR (State Senators and State Representatives) that will vote on what happens to Part 226 at their meeting on November 17.

  1. I am appalled. And angry.

    I prefer to use e-mail to contact elected ”officials”, especially when it necessitates making more than a word or two of commentary. I went to the state lists to gather e-mail addresses for the list of JCAR committee members and found that only a scant few have e-mail addresses listed —

    I’m thinking that another advocacy effort on our part needs to be a requirement that each must make public / publish this mode of contact. Also to have a web site where comments can be made. That will be part of each call I make ……
