State Representative Robert Martwick.
After posting about the progress of the House Bill for an elected school board in Chicago, Representative Rob Martwick, chief sponsor of the the bill, wrote to say that the bill number has been changed.
It is now HB557.
It has passed out of the Education Policy and Curriculum Committee.
“I’m very hopeful for a floor vote and passage of this bill,” says Martwick.
