Claypool and Rahm. Hand-picked is okay for blueberries. Not for school leaders.

Vallas

Paul Vallas. “I shall return.”

There is some interesting stuff in this morning’s story by Sun-Times reporters, Fran Spielman and Lauren FitzPatrick.

  1. Lots of fruit, here (low-hanging fruit). Hand-picked blueberries and…
dance of the lemons. (This was a “cute” little animated reference {in the anti-public school film, “Waiting for Superman,” I believe–please, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong} to what the public schools do with “bad” teachers–they are simply moved from school to school, as in a “dance of the lemons.”)
Nope. That’s what’s done with people like Vallas. &, to wit: he couldn’t be $ati$fied w/$imply being a non-paid regulator or board member or fixer at the broke (on purpose) Chicago State University–he had to be appointed (I would say, rather, “annointed,” to a paid po$ition.) The likes of Valla$ doe$ nit, after all, work for free. I have been wondering ju$t how much he i$ making. Do you know, Fred?
($ame goe$ for Arne, but “Can Arne Duncan Save Chicago?”)

    Actually, I think Arne & Paul just…$ave. For them$elve$.
