The IEA’s Charlie McBarron is reporting that the pension bill will be unveiled this week.
When it comes to screwing teachers, things move quickly in Springfield. The two-tier pension bill was passed last year in 24 hours (once they got the green light from Ken Swanson, after the willingness of RA delegates to believe him and Audrey Soglin about sitting at the table).
When I asked incoming IEA President Cinda Klickna if she had reconsidered her position of support for Ken’s cave, she said she had and would vote differently if given the chance again.
Apparently she isn’t able to transfer that lesson to Senate Bill 7. She’s all with Ken on that one.
