In Michigan the union mobilizes. In Illinois they tell members to sit quietly.

In Illinois, the IEA leadership tells its members not to mobilize against the pension killing bill.

At the last state convention IEA delegates voted a huge amount of money targeted for a public relations campaign. Seen any of that at work yet?

In Michigan, this video is a big hit.

What do they know in Michigan that the leadership in Illinois is missing?

  1. I dunno–is there something going on because our state government is made up of Democrats rather than Republicans?

&–nationally–why, for example, did the NEA endorse Obama way back in March (were the members even polled-?!), when nothing was made of the fact that Arnie Duncan is STILL the Secy. of Ed., even though he has been NO friend of education in any way, shape or form? Then, it was announced at the convention–in Chicago!!!

  2. Not to hog the comment section–

I just was able to get the video to run (tech problems here). EVERYONE MUST see this!!!
It is so perfect it made me cry!

A picture (video) is worth 1,000 words! (But the narration is great, too!)

    THANK YOU, Fred!
