CPS principals receive bonuses paid for by millionaire Bruce Rauner.

The first thing right-wing loony Dr. Dathan Paterno did following his election to the Park Ridge school board was vote to give a handful of  Park Ridge administrators thousands of dollars in bonuses.

He ran for the board on a platform of cutting teacher salaries.

Typical.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports today that CPS principals will receive between $5,000 and $20000 in bonuses after the vote by the CPS board to fire thousands of teachers and close 50 schools.

And bulldoze a library.

The bonuses will be paid for by the rich best friends of Rahm.

Like Illinois gubernatorial candidate and tax evader Bruce Rauner.

Rauner gave two million bucks towards the principal bonus fund.

“Last year when we did this, one principal did say, ‘I can take my family on a vacation.’ So, the mayor would ask if you would do him one favor. Just spend it here locally. Take some of your spouses to the Four Seasons. That would be a personal request. Obviously, you can do whatever you want,” he said.
