NEA Representative Assembly heads for NOLA July 1.

In three weeks I’ll be heading for my favorite city, New Orleans. The National Education Association will be holding its convention in the Crescent City the week of July 1 through the 6th. I’ll join about 10,000 other education employees representing over 3 million members.

For those who would like to meet up, I’ll be with the Illinois delegation sitting with our Region 36 colleagues. Or out in the lobby with a cup of chicory and a beignet. Or up at Acme with a plate of oysters (hopefully not covered in BP oil). At breakfast, I may be at Mothers with some grits and debris.
