Teacher job losses. Sliding towards a November election defeat.

While there are pundits and bloggers who deny teachers have lost their jobs (You find ’em. I’m not linking to them anymore. Besides, you know who they are.) Or there are those who don’t believe teacher and other public sector jobs are real jobs.

But the fact is that the private sector added 70,000 jobs last month.

The job losses were in the public sector.

The loss of teaching jobs and other public sector jobs were huge enough to cause an overall increase in the numbers of unemployed, destroying whatever claims Obama could have made that there is an employment and economic recovery underway.

How does “Speaker of the House, John Boehner” sound. Get use to it.
