Back on February 24th we reported on the Governor’s plan to cut state funding for TRIP, the retiree health insurance program.
From our IEA leaders there has been no word.
Today, two weeks later, IEA President Cinda Klickna put a video on the IEA website calling for member action. The part about TRIP appears to be spliced on as a late addition.
Do you get a sense of urgency from Cinda? Me neither.
The online petition organized by rank-and-file activists is still up. You can sign it here. The last time I looked there were over 6,000 signatures.
